The Teacher Training Program in Jewish Culture and Israeli Identity at Bar-Ilan University was established to ensure that future generations understand and appreciate Jewish thought and heritage and  the ethical and social responsibility that comes with it.

Designed in conjunction with Israel’s Ministry of Education, the Posen Bar-Ilan program will serve as  model for teacher training in the field of Jewish Thought and Israeli Cultural Identity.

The program is geared for teachers and potential teachers who are studying for their Master’s degrees.   The teacher training program is administered by Bar-Ilan’s Department of Jewish Thought where the secular, traditional, and religious, men and women, study together with acceptance and  mutual respect.
