A week ago, the Israeli Ministry of Education’s “Owing to the Spirit” conference for leading principals of Jewish-Israeli culture was held, in collaboration with BINA – the Jewish Movement for Social Change, the Shitim Institute and the Posen Foundation.

The conference was held at The Palmach Museum, as an annual highlight of this training program for principals, focusing on discourse of identities as a generator of personal and social resilience.

At the conference, school principals met with leading intellectuals and artists who shared stories of the ways in which creative works, writings and culture have all influenced great changes in their own lives.

Conference participants heard from Ronny Someck and Shlomit Naim Naor, from Meira Barnea-Goldberg, Yair Agmon and also Poochoo (Israel Wisler).

The conference concluded with a special performance by Peter Roth and Ayala Dekel.
