We opened the weekend with a preparation and training seminar for the facilitators’ team of the “Acknowledge the Voices” initiative—a group of facilitators who will lead 18 communities of teachers across the country this year.

The seminar was designed by the initiative’s leading team, who created a rich learning space combining knowledge, pedagogical tools rooted in a “Acknowledge the Voices” approach, texts from the Jewish-Israeli bookshelf, and creative workshops.

Thanks to the shared work of the leading team together with the facilitators—both experienced and new—an open and meaningful learning process emerged, laying a strong foundation for the year-long work ahead.

“Acknowledge the Voices” founded by the Posen Foundation, Kol Israel Haverim (Alliance), and the Ministry of Education, brings to the educational field a dialogical pedagogy that sees, hears, and encourages the positive presence of the diverse learners in the classroom.
