We had the privilege of concluding the year of the “Acknowledge the Voices” initiative – a visionary project that seeks to give voice to the diverse Jewish identities and traditions, to illuminate stories that have remained unseen, and to create a new kind of discourse within the education system, one that connects, broadens, and embraces.

After a year of meaningful encounters, we all gathered , teachers from across the country for a unique and moving evening:
Beit Midrash style learning led by Eli Barkat, CEO of Kol Israel Haverim;
a fascinating lecture by Dr. Sharon Rahamim, Director of Pisga Lod and member of the Lod community, titled “Portrait of Identities”;
shared singing with Amir Amar;
and above all much hope and anticipation for what’s next.

An evening that proved it’s possible to do things differently.
